3. How the Contract is Formed

4. Consumer Rights
4.1 Cancellation Rights: If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel a Contract within 30 days of receiving the Products, except for:
Bespoke or personalised Products.
Products that cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons (e.g., mattresses) once unsealed.
4.2 To cancel a Contract, notify us in writing at info@maisonhavenfurniture.co.uk. Products must be returned in their original packaging, in unused condition, at your expense. If these conditions are not met, we may deduct an appropriate amount from your refund to cover any loss in value.
4.3 Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 The price of Products will be as displayed on our Website at the time of purchase. All prices include VAT but exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated.
5.2 We accept payment by credit/debit card, PayPal, and bank transfer. Payment must be completed at the time of order.
5.3 In the event of a pricing error on our Website, we reserve the right to cancel your order and notify you of the error. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel and receive a full refund.
6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery times are estimates only. For in-stock items, delivery typically takes 1-3 weeks, while bespoke or made-to-order items may take 3-20 weeks. Specific timeframes will be communicated in your order confirmation.
6.2 You are responsible for ensuring that Products can be delivered to your chosen address, including confirming that entryways and staircases are suitable. If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, additional charges may apply.
6.3 You must inspect the Products upon delivery and report any issues (e.g., damage) to us within 48 hours. Failure to do so may affect your ability to claim a refund or replacement.
7. Returns and Refunds
7.1 If you wish to return a Product, you must notify us within 30 days of delivery. Products must be returned in their original condition, including all packaging. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Product.
7.2 We will not accept returns for bespoke, made-to-order, or personalised Products unless they are faulty or not as described.
7.3 If a Product arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
8. Warranty
8.1 We warrant that all Products will conform to their description, be of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover:
